Words and Verses: Foundation

2026-02-07

Words and Verses: Foundation marks the realization of an idea originally received in 2015: take a verse from the Holy Bible and compose what it sounds like. An abstract notion to be sure, but profound; after all, the concepts from the Bible have stood the test of time. Ideals such as faith, power, forgiveness, creation, love, strength, blessing, eternity, and many more.

Words are powerful. Even more so when framed by scripture verses. What would those sound like, transformed into music?

This album marks my first offering into that concept (with more to come). The collection is a combination of classical and electronic elements, slowly assembled piece by piece over several years. I’d like to offer a huge thanks to my soloists who worked very hard on some very challenging material. I’m also hugely grateful to my friends and fans who have been following this project with anticipation since I first shared the idea in 2020. It’s taken a long time, but the first release is finally here, and I hope you enjoy it!

Full purchase/downloads via Bandcamp will also receive a collection of the original .IT files so you can see how each piece was made. (Also serves as proof that yes, this was all human written without any AI support.)
