When the beauty is in the details, sometimes a site that adapts to the screen site is what's called for. Such is the case in the website for fine artist Nikolai Goodich, as the paintings will stretch and expand to fill as much of the screen as possible, and without pixelation!

DESIGNER COMMENTS:

This is another site that's much trickier than it looks. Visually the design is minimal in order to showcase the artwork. Programming-wise, there's a lot going on to ensure that the graphics are displayed as large as possible, without pixelation, and can adapt to a changing window size.

DESIGNER COMMENTS:

I first met Morniengstar of Harmony Wedding Photography during a couples shoot we had set up, where she took photos of my girlfriend (now my wife) and I. She was great, very professional and an expert at her craft. When it came time to do her website, she wanted a format where should could have scrolling stories, rather than your standard gallery display. What you see is the result, and the site in turn can hold literally thousands of photos.

ANIMAL ACTOR AND ARTIST

This fun promotional website was built for an independent film maker who is lobbying for Cheetah, the original chimp from 'Tarzan', to receive a 'Star' on the hollywood walk of fame. The media filled site utilizes sliding photo galleries, paypal carts, streaming videos and cool page transitions...

DESIGNER COMMENTS:

This site exists as part of a campaign to get Cheeta - the animal star of the original Tarzan movies - a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Furthermore it is where you can buy original animal art by Cheeta himself, through the Paypal shopping cart.
Site has campaign info, a petition, videos, photos, all sorts of cool stuff. And, some fun animation at the beginning. :)
